Trainer Consultant Project Management, Port-au-Prince, Haiti

The Rule of Law project plans to assist the Directorate of Prison Administration (DAP) in the development and implementation Oeuvre of its action plan and the creation within its structures for planning and coordination its activities. The project also aims to support capacity building of judicial and penal institutions and organizations of civil society. Finally, this project will help inform citizens of their rights and increase their participation in the formulation and implementation of the Oeuvre justice reform.

Duties and Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities:

Under the responsibility and supervision of the Chief State Law Project of the United Nations Programme for Development, the consultant will present 20 training modules on project management:
A presentation session module will be to the attention of department heads and deputy DAP (10 modules)
A second module will be presenting to the attention of the management team of the HNP (10 modules)
The consultant will present the training to both groups (the Directorate of Administration Pénitenciere (DAP) and the Directorate of National Police of Haiti (DPNH).
The training will take place over a period of four months, two sessions of five days per month for both groups; a total of 40 training days.
Each session will be focused on a particular theme in project management.

Expected Results:

Dissemination of continuing education courses according to the standards of the Project Management Institute (PMI), with these two groups;
Disseminate these continuing education courses for both groups;
Teach two sessions of training modules on basic principles of project management to the attention:
Team of the DPA;
Executives of the Directorate of the HNP.

Qualifications / Evaluations:: 
Education: Diploma in project management of a university diploma equivalent to a higher study; Experience: Minimum 15 years experience in the field of management education in project management, leadership. Proven knowledge in the content delivery of training competency-based approach.
