Advisor WASH Program

Technical Support & Quality Programming - Provide technical expertise, quality assurance and support for SC's WASH programs, ensuring they are of high quality with reliable data and outcomes
SC Global & Country Strategy and Positioning for Thematic Area - Coordinate development and monitoring of thematic strategic and operational/financial plans for SC's WASH programs
Program monitoring, reporting, learning, innovation and grant management - In collaboration with national program and field teams, lead/facilitate the development of monitoring, information management, and reporting systems that provide information for reporting and program improvement
Resource Mobilization - Maintain/facilitate relationships with key donors, and identify fundraising needs and opportunities
Major procurement - As needed, lead/participate in technical inputs to procure program goods or services

Qualifications / Evaluations:: 
Advanced degree in relevant field 7 - 9 years of international experience in WASH programming, including direct experience in WASH response and recovery following natural disaster, program assessment, management and supervision of staff in cross-cultural contexts, design and evaluation and/or technical training and support. Understanding of public health, risk reduction, emergency response, and community health revitalization concepts. Experience implementing public health engineering projects, as well as a technical understanding of WASH strategies and program models Experience leading program design, proposal development, grant management and reporting for bilateral donors and provate foundations, USG and European donors. Excellent skills in designing, implementing and monitoring WASH assessments and programs. Experience representing organizations externally. Excellent writing and communication skills in English and French; Haitian Creole a plus
