Our client is looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to oversee a project in Haiti in the Caribbean.

You will be working alongside the Project Manager updating the Health & Safety plan. You will also be responsible for issuing and managing the Health and Safety plan.
Responsibilities included:
- Making safe changes to working Practices which comply with legislation
- Assessing health and safety strategies and developing internal policies
- Performing risk assessments with the aim to reduce risks
- Outlining safe operational procedures and identifying all relevant hazards
- Carrying out regular site inspections
- Training managers and employees in health and safety issues and risks
- Recording inspection reports and gathering findings to produce improvement reports
- Recording all incidents and accidents, providing information for managers
- Ensuring safe installation of equipment
- Advising on specialist areas - fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, occupational diseases and safeguarding machinery

Qualifications / Evaluations::

Preferably you will have had previous overseas experience and have held a Health and Safety Managers position for at least 2 years. Hardship allowance is included within the salary and you will be entitled to 20 days paid leave every 4-6 months.
