Heath & Safety Manager Haiti £35,00

Our client is looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to oversee a project in Haiti in the Caribbean.

You will be working alongside the Project Manager updating the Health & Safety plan. You will also be responsible for issuing and managing the Health and Safety plan.
Responsibilities included:
- Making safe changes to working Practices which comply with legislation
- Assessing health and safety strategies and developing internal policies
- Performing risk assessments with the aim to reduce risks

Qualifications / Evaluations:: 
Preferably you will have had previous overseas experience and have held a Health and Safety Managers position for at least 2 years. Hardship allowance is included within the salary and you will be entitled to 20 days paid leave every 4-6 months.

Senior Compliance Manager, Haiti

We are currently seeking a Senior Compliance Manager for an upcoming USAID-funded, multi-year agricultural development project in Haiti. The position will be contingent on ACDI/VOCA being awarded the program.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement programs, policies and practices to ensure that all project activities and beneficiaries are in compliance with local and USAID regulatory requirements.

Qualifications / Evaluations:: 
Minimum bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (finance, accounting, business, etc.). Minimum 12 years of relevant experience managing compliance and procurement for a project of similar size. Experience with USAID project compliance, finance and budgeting or similar work for other donors/U.S. government agencies. Ability to manage multiple project assignments simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment, accept ownership and accountability of the process, and deliver on commitments. Ability to develop and lead a team. Demonstrated ability to work with cross-function teams. Ability to surface and resolve conflicts diplomatically. Excellent communication skills; ability to summarize/communicate technical and business information effectively. Fluency in French and English required, working ability in Haitian Creole preferred.

The Rule of Law project plans to assist the Directorate of Prison Administration (DAP) in the development and implementation Oeuvre of its action plan and the creation within its structures for planning and coordination its activities. Executive Director

Executive Director will work between Port au Prince, Haiti and Miami. Project Medishare will provide housing accommodations and transportation in Haiti.

Agriculture Specialist

Provides expert advice and guidance to the Coordinator of the Haiti Task Team (HTT) and USAID/LAC in agriculture. Drafts talking points, responses to questions, and reconstruction and stabilization program documents. Chief of Party, Haiti
